The Asian & Pacific Islander Institute on Domestic Violence (API Institute) is a national resource center and clearinghouse on gender violence in Asian and Pacific Islander communities. The API Institute does not provide crisis services, legal advice, or financial assistance.
If you or someone you know is in danger, please contact 911 or your local hotline.
For advocacy, counseling and referrals, you can call the National Domestic Violence Hotline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There, an advocate can talk with you about your situation, your safety, and the options available to you. All conversations with advocates at the National Hotline are strictly confidential.
